GRADES

The common grades of stainless steel beams used are 304 and 316. 304 and 304L are the most widely used grades for stainless steel beams as they are resistant to corrosion under different industrial environment. Stainless steel grade 304 can be easily welded by all common techniques and has good formability, while also keeping its durability. Stainless steel grades 316 and 316L are often favoured in coastal and marine environments as they have proven to withstand strong resistance in acidic and hard water areas. Stainless steel grade 316 has greater tensile strength and less malleability than stainless steel grade 304, with the ability to provide reliable, durable performance in corrosive and sanitary applications.
